Overseas Production

At the end of last year, Hozon Autoโ€™s Neta brand began production of its first model, the Neta V-II (known in China as the Neta Aya), in Thailand. Previously, production was expected to begin on January 2024, but together with the Thailand local partner, Bangchan General Assembly, production was able to start earlier.

The Neta X that was just launched is produced at this same factory. The Thailand factory is first supplying cars to Thailand and Malaysia, with the expectation that other ASEAN regions like Indonesia and Vietnam will follow.

Neta was the second best-selling electric brand in Thailand, after BYD, with 12,777 EVs sold. Those sales were achieved with the brand only selling one model, the Neta V, making it the second most sold electric car in Thailand last year. Neta has stated that in 2024, the brand plans to cover 50 countries with its global sales network and establish 500 overseas sales and service outlets.
