Simone Giertz dreamed of owning an electric pickup truck long before Tesla’s Cybertruck was even announced. The Swedish inventor, known for her persistence, wasnβt about to wait around. “More specifically, I want a Tesla pickup truck,” she explained to her 2 million YouTube followers. “It’s going to be like years until you can actually have one and I don’t have time for that,” she said, reflecting on the moment she decided to take matters into her own hands.
Giertz, the self-proclaimed “queen of shitty robots,” is known for her YouTube channel where she builds quirky robots that attempt to automate daily tasksβoften with hilarious results.
In this project, she teams up with friends to transform a Tesla Model 3 into a fully functional pickup truck, proving that no challenge is too big for her creative ambition.
