Zeekr, a subsidiary of Geely, is set to officially launch its highly anticipated mid-sized MPV, the Zeekr MIX (see specs), on October 23. Ahead of the release, display models of the MIX will begin arriving at showrooms on October 18. The MIX is built on the advanced SEA-M architecture and features an 800V high-voltage platform, boasting a maximum range of 712 kilometers CLTC.
The Zeekr MIX retains the 007’s signature design language, emphasizing high recognizability. The standout feature of the MIX is its versatile and spacious interior, made possible by its B-pillar-less design. This unique approach allows for a wider field of view when the front and rear doors are fully opened. Notably, the front and rear passenger-side doors feature a sliding, split-opening design, while the left rear door is also a sliding door, enhancing accessibility and convenience. Equipped with lidar, the MIX supports advanced urban autonomous driving systems.
The MIX offers impressive interior flexibility. The front seats can swivel to face the rear, creating a more interactive space within the vehicle. The center armrest console is also movable and can be transformed into a small table. The rear seats offer leg rests and can be adjusted into a reclined position, similar to the seats in the Zeekr 7X. The MIX measures 4,688 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm.
The dashboard layout also resembles the 7X, featuring a square-shaped central control screen, a semi-circular instrument panel, and an AR-HUD heads-up display. The MIX has a 5-seat configuration, offering ample space for passengers and cargo alike.
Under the hood, the Zeekr MIX is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 422 horsepower. It comes equipped with a 77 kWh battery. The vehicle’s turning radius is less than 5 meters, enhancing maneuverability in tight spaces.
As Zeekr prepares for the launch, the MIX is positioned as a versatile and spacious MPV designed for families. It offers a unique combination of style, practicality, and technology. Adding the MIX to Zeekr’s lineup is expected to help the brand achieve its ambitious sales goals.
