GMCβs all-electric Sierra EV Denali pickup is hitting Canadian dealerships this fall.
For 2025, GMC will offer the electric pickup in two versions: the Extended Range model, a Manufacturerβs Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $115,699 and the Max Range version, starting at $119,699 MSRP.
With price tags at this level, neither model qualifies for federal or provincial EV rebates.
The 2025 Sierra EV Denali caters to different driving needs with its two range options. The Extended Range version offers up to 628 km on a full charge, while the Max Range model provides an extended 740 km.
Both models are powered by a dual-motor setup that delivers 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. This enables a maximum towing capacity of up to 4,500 kg (10,500 lbs).
The GMC Sierra EVΒ Denali is capable of 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW. This allows drivers to gain 160 km of range in 10 minutes, the automaker claims.
The vehicle also has an 8-year/160,000 km warranty covering the battery and electric components.
The Sierra EV Denali is available in six colours: Summit White, Thunderstorm Gray, Onyx Black, Dark Ember Tintcoat, Deep Ocean Metallic and Moonlight Matte.
One of its unique features is the MultiPro MidGate, which extends the bed to carry items up to 11 feet long with space for a rear-seat passenger.
Additionally, the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension provides βa more comfortable ride,β says GMC. The feature allows drivers to adjust the truckβs height by up to two inches.
GMC wants to expand the Sierra EV lineup in early 2025.
The American automaker plans to introduce the Elevation and AT4 models next year, which includes vehicles with off-road capabilities.
