The “most affordable EV in the US with 315+ miles range” is officially here. GM confirmed the long-awaited $35,000 Chevy Equinox EV LT is now available to order.
After the first Equinox EVs were delivered in May, GM promised the lower-priced LT model was on its way. Now, it’s officially arriving at dealerships across the US.
Starting at just $34,995, the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV LT has up to 319 miles EPA-est range (FWD model). Not only does it have more range than most of the competition, it also comes with a bigger 17.7″ infotainment.
GM now offers the LT and RS Equinox models, which are both available with FWD or AWD powertrain options.
The 2025 RS FWD variant starts at $45,790. It also gets up to 319 miles range. For AWD, the base LT starts at $40,295 with EPA-est 307 miles range. The RS AWD starts at $49,090 and gains GM’s Active Safety Package 2, AutoSenese power liftgate, sporty design upgrades, and more.
2025 Chevy Equinox EV prices start at under $35,000
Keep in mind the Equinox EV also qualifies for the $7,500 EV tax credit, bringing prices potentially as low as $27,495.
Under $28,000 is a steal for an all-electric SUV with nearly 320 miles range. The 2024 Toyota RAV4, the best-selling SUV in the US this year, is even more expensive, starting at around $30,000.
Over 15,000 Equinox EVs were sold in Q3, its first full sales quarter. With the lower-priced model now available, GM expects the electric SUV to compete with the best.
