The Denza N9, a large flagship crossover from BYD that was designed for the global market, revealed its interior in China. It has three rows of seats, a 50-inch HUD, a 17.1-inch on the ceiling, and a fridge with a capacity of 11.5 liters. The Denza N9 will enter China next year with a peak power of 710 kW (951 hp) and a starting price above 500,000 yuan (68,950 USD).
Denza is a high-end NEV brand founded in 2011 by BYD and Mercedes-Benz. In September 2024, BYD took 100% ownership of Denza. The model line of this high-end brand comprises five vehicles. The upcoming Denza N9 SUV will become the brandβs flagship SUV. It will also help to promote Denzaβs overseas development as it was previously seen in the UK.
Denza N9 interior
The Denza N9 interior follows the brandβs latest design language adopted by Z9 and Z9 GT models. The center console of the N9 adopts a three-monitor layout with a large 17.3-inch touchscreen. The 13.2-inch LCD instrument cluster sits behind the D-shaped steering wheel. Another 13.2-inch screen is located on the front passengerβs side.
The center tunnel of the Denza N9 has a minimalistic style with two wireless charging pads, a block of physical buttons, and a hidden compartment. The front seats of the Denza N9 offer an active side support function. The front passengerβs seat supports a zero-gravity mode. Β
The second row of the Denza N9 has two independent captain chairs that can fold flat to form a bed. The second-row passengers have a 17.1-inch ceiling-mounted screen and two folding illuminated mirrors. Moreover, there are two folding tables that can hold up to 10 kg of weight. Another high-end feature of the Denza N9 is an 11.5-liter storage box with heating and cooling functions hidden in the center tunnel. It has a working temperature range from minus 6 to plus 50 degrees Celsius.
The third row of the Denza N9 adopts two seats. As a result, this large SUV has six seats with a 2 + 2 + 2 layout. There isnβt much to tell about the third-row seats. They are equipped with two cup holders and four USB ports.

The Denza N9 is a large crossover. It boasts dimensions of 5258/2030/1830 mm with a wheelbase of 3125 mm. For clarity, it is slightly longer than the 2024 Range Rover with a long wheelbase. The Denza N9 rides on R21 or R22 wheels.
The PHEV variant of the Denza N9 SUV adopts a combination of three electric motors for 680 kW (911 hp) and a 2-liter turbocharged engine for 152 kW (204 hp). It has a 47-kWh LFP battery pack for 165 km of electric range (CLTC). The carβs top speed reaches 230 km/h. The Denza N9 will also have a BEV variant with three e-motors for 710 kW (951 hp). Currently, there is no information about the battery pack size.
The Denza N9 will enter the Chinese market in early 2025 with a starting price above 500,000 yuan (68,950 USD). It will also enter overseas markets. We will remind you that BYD aims to launch Denza in Europe next year with the Denza Z9 GT being the launch car.
