The Geely-backed high-end electric brand Zeekr manufactured the 400,000th electric car 37 months after the first vehicle rolled off the production line. The Zeekr Mix minivan with a record in-cabin space utilization rate of 93% became the 400,000th car.
Zeekr is a high-end brand under Geely Group founded in 2021. Its model line comprises six cars. From January to November 2024, Zeekr delivered 194,933 cars, 85% up Y-O-Y. To maintain high sales volume, Zeekr produces its vehicles in three manufacturing plants across China. They are the Zeekr factory in Hangzhou Bay, the Geely plant in Chengdu, and the Geely plant in Chunxiao.
Zeekr 400,000th car
The Zeekr’s 400,000th car is the Mix minivan. It has rolled off the production line in the Geely’s Chunxiao plant. This production site was built in 2014 with an annual volume of 200,000 units. Aside from the Zeekr Mix, this plant assembles Geely-branded models like Borui sedan, Geely Atlas (Boyue) crossover, etc.
The Zeekr Mix became the first pure electric product manufactured in the Chunxiao factory. According to Geely’s representatives, the factory had undergone serious renovation before the production of the new model started. The technical transformation included the building of two workshops, expanding of the welding and stamping workshops, and the addition of some production equipment. The annual production plan for the Zeekr Mix is 100,000 cars. So, it occupies half of the factory’s volume.
Back to Zeekr, its first car rolled off the production line on October 19, 2021. It was the Zeekr 001 electric liftback. It took Zeekr 1,145 days to produce 400,000 cars. It is 37 months.

The Zeekr Mix is a funky minivan with the world’s highest in-cabin space utilization rate of 93%. Its most unique feature is three sliding doors. Thanks to them, the Zeekr Mix has an entrance with a width of 1480 mm. Inside, the Zeekr Mix has five seats. The in-car cabin height reaches 1350 mm and the floor height is just 390 mm.
The measures are 4668/1995/1775 mm with a wheelbase of 3008 mm. Its front wheels can turn more than 50 degrees. It resulted in a turning radius of 4.95 meters. A single electric motor in the rear axle for 310 kW (415 hp) powers the Zeekr Mix. The family minivan speeds up to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Thanks to a 76 kWh LFP battery, the entry-level Zeekr Mix has a range of 550 km. The larger ternary NMC battery pack offers 102 kWh capacity and a range of 700 km.
The Zeekr Mix isn’t a cheap car. Its price range is 279,800 – 299,900 yuan (38,500 – 41,200 USD).
