Bingo. And like that Wuling has fired the first salvo of 2025 in the price war. The whole Wuling Bingo SUV range is now officially priced at less than 90,000 yuan (12,350 USD). Both the 410 km and 510 km versions have received price drops.
Specifically, the 510 km range version has been reduced from 95,800 yuan (13,100 USD) to 89,800 yuan (12,300 USD), a drop of 6000 yuan (800 USD). On the other hand the 410 km version has had less of a decrease. It drops 2000 yuan (275 USD) from 84,800 yuan (11,600 USD) to a new suggested retail price of 82,800 yuan (11,350 USD).
The Wuling Bingo was first introduced in 2023. In an attempt to capitalize on sales, the Wuling Bingo Plus was introduced in March 2024. Despite the obviously similar name, the cars are not very closely related, and the Bingo Plus, which is also known as the Bingo SUV, uses the Tianyu Architecture M platform.
Officially, the Wuling Bingo SUV (see specs) refers to the five-seater, whereas the Wuling Bingo Plus refers to the four-seater. It has dimensions of 4090, 1720, 1575 mm, and the wheelbase is 2610 mm.
Sales of the four-seater Plus began in March 2024, and the five-seater SUV was launched in September. The five-seater is available in 330 km, 401 km, and 510 km versions, whereas the four-seater does not offer a 330 km version.
All versions of the car use a 75 kW front-mounted electric motor, which has a peak torque of 180 Nm. It is a high-efficiency three-in-one water-cooled flat wire motor, and power consumption is as low as 10.1 kWh per 100 km. This is enough to propel the car to a top speed of 140 km/h. There are no official acceleration times for the five-seater versions, although the 401 km range four-seater has an 11.2 seconds 0-100 km/h time, and the 510 km version has an 11.6 second time.
All versions of the Wuling Bingo Plus/SUV use lithium iron phosphate batteries. For the 330 km version, it uses a 31.9 kWh pack, for the 401 km version, a 37.9 kWh pack, and for the 510 km version a 50.6 kWh pack. Fast charging for all versions takes more than 30 minutes.
