On January 8, Huang Zhaogen, general manager of Chery Exeed Marketing, announced that the Exeed Exlantix ET for the overseas market officially rolled off the production line in China and will enter more than 20 countries in 2025.
The domestic version, which is known as the Exeed Sterra ET, entered the market in May 2024, available in EV and EREV variants. The EV is priced from 229,800 yuan (31,300 USD) while the EREV is priced at 189,800 yuan (25,900 USD). Later, the EREV Max trim with urban advanced driving assistance capabilities and the EREV AWD trim were launched. The EREV has an official CLTC pure electric range of 189 km to 200 km and a comprehensive range of 1,500 km to 1518 km. The EV provides a CLTC cruising range of 540 km to 760 km.
The length, width, and height of the car are 4955/1975/1698 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm.
In December 2024, the Exeed Sterra ET was spotted doing winter testing in China and reportedly passed the performance test at minus 30β, including low-temperature water immersion of battery packs. Earlier, the car was unveiled in Russia on September 24 and will officially launch in the first quarter of 2025.
In terms of appearance, the overseas version adopts a straight waterfall grille compared to the closed front face on the domestic version. The bumper design also differs and the EXEED letter logo is replaced by the EXLANTIX letter logo in the rear. However, the light strip remains the same.
The Exeed Exlantix ET adopts a 400 V architecture and is equipped with a 1.5T range-extender system consisting of a 1.5T turbocharged engine, dual motors, and a 43 kWh battery pack, with a total output of 469 hp and a maximum torque of 634 Nm. The WLTC full-charge and full-fuel comprehensive range is 1,238 km.
