The Leapmotor B10 electric crossover started presales in China, receiving over 15,000 orders in one hour. This vehicle has a starting price tag of 109,800 yuan (15,120 USD). Moreover, the Leapmotor B10 became the first vehicle with a LiDAR sensor under the 120,000 yuan price tag.
The B10 is the sixth model under the Stellantis-backed NEV brand Leapmotor. It has applied for a sales license in China in December 2024. In March, this SUV started presales in China.

The Leapmotor B10 is a compact crossover with dimensions of 4515/1885/1655 mm and a wheelbase of 2735 mm. Its front end adopts two thin running lights joined by an LED strip. The front bumper integrates headlights and an air intake. The Leapmotor B10 also has a LiDAR sensor on the roof, flush door handles, and a single taillight unit.


Inside, the Leapmotor B10 has a 14.6-inch suspended screen and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster. The gear shifter of this model sits behind the two-spoke D-shaped steering wheel. The car’s center tunnel adopts two wireless charging pads. The center console of the B10 has special anchor points on the passenger side. As a result, it can be equipped with a folding table.

The entry-level Leapmotor B10 adopts a single electric motor with a peak power of 132 kW (177 hp). There is a more powerful variant of this SUV with an e-motor for 160 kW (214 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. This BEV adopts an LFP battery for 56.2 kWh. It is suitable for a 510 km range under CLTC conditions. The long-range variant of the Leapmotor B10 has a bigger 67.1 kWh battery pack for the 600 km range.
As mentioned, the Leapmotor B10 has a LiDAR on the roof. This sensor enhances the car’s ADAS functions. It supports 26 functions, including smart parking or avoiding obstacles on the road. Other features of the Leapmotor B10 are 12 speakers and a 1.83 square meters sunroof. This SUV has six body color options: purple, light gray, white, silver, black and dark gray. The interior is available in two color combinations: gray and purple.

The Leapmotor B10 is available for order in five trim levels with a price range of 109,800 – 139,800 yuan (15,120 – 19,250 USD). Only two trim levels of the vehicle offer the LiDAR sensor. These are top-trim variants of the Leapmotor with 510 and 600 km range. For clarity, the BYD Atto 3 costs 115,800 – 145,800 yuan (15,940 – 20,070 USD) in China.

According to Leapmotor, the B10 got 15,010 orders just one hour after the presales had started in China. Around 73% of clients placed an order for the LiDAR-equipped variant of the car.
