On March 20, HIMA opened its Stelato S9 EREV variant for presale, priced at 318,000 yuan (44,000 USD). The official launch will be in April.


Outside, the Stelato S9 EREV maintains the appearance of that of the pure electric variant with a One Box design, and is built based on the latest Huawei Turing platform, featuring a more advanced motion sickness relief capability.

An exclusive Haoyu Blue exterior paint has also been added, paired with 20-inch multi-spoke rims.


One of the highlights is the onboard Huawei ADS 3.0 advanced driving system, equipped with 4 lidars, which includes the original 192-line lidar and three additional high-precision solid-state lidars, located on the left, right, and rear of the vehicle. The system supports new summoning and intelligent remote parking functionalities with hand gestures such as waving of hands.

Additionally, the front comes with the Huawei xPixel megapixel headlights, which can realize 100-inch screen projection and dynamic light language, according to the official. The EREV measures 5160/2005/1486 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3050 mm, which is 18 mm wider than the EV variant.

Insidr, the cabin layout is also consistent with the EV variant, following a symmetrical design and covered in a large area of truffle brown Nappa leather. There is a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel. The back row is still equipped with zero-gravity seats, a small table, and a refrigerator. The seat back angle is adjustable, and there are leg rests, and ventilation, heating and massage functions are standard.

The EREV powertrain consisted of a 1.5T engine model A156T2H with a maximum power of 118 kW (158 hp) and a rear 227 kW (304 hp) electric motor. The top speed is 204 km/h. Two battery options are offered: 36 kWh lithium iron phosphate and 51.9 kWh ternary lithium, supplied by CATL. The CLTC pure electric range is 365 km and the comprehensive range is 1,355 km.
A four-wheel drive version will also be launched in the future.
