On March 23, BYDβs Qin L EV sedan under its Dynasty series targeting the young consumer groups officially entered the market with three trims of 470 km and 545 km cruising ranges, priced at 119,800 yuan (16,500 USD), 129,800 yuan (17,900 USD), and 139,800 yuan (19,300 USD).



As a mid-size sedan, the Qin L EV is built on the BYD e-Platform 3.0 Evo, with a brand new Loong Face design and dimensions of 4720/1880/1495 mm, and a 2820 mm wheelbase. The minimum turning radius is 5.4 m.

Four exterior paints to choose from: gray, white, green, and beige.

The advanced driving assistance system is realized via BYDβs βGodβs Eyeβ C (DiPilot 100) three-camera solution to achieve high-speed navigation on autopilot, intelligent parking, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring, to name a few. The onboard sensors include five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 12 cameras. Other capabilities such as memory navigation will be added through OTA updates. The sentry mode is also available.

The BYD Qin L EV offers two rear permanent magnet synchronous motor options that output 110 kW (148 hp)/220 Nm and 160 kW (215 hp)/330 Nm, respectively; matched with 46.08 kWh and 56.64 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs, providing a corresponding CLTC range of 470 km and 545 km. The 0 β 50 km/h acceleration time is 4.1 and 3.1 seconds, respectively.
Additionally, official data shows that at 25Β°C, the power consumption per 100 km is 10.8 kWh. The fast charging time to replenish from 30% to 80% is 24 minutes.

Inside, the interior powered by BYDβs DiLink 100 smart cockpit system is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 12.8-inch floating central control screen, and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The DiLink 100 is also integrated with DeepSeekβs model for AI assistance interactions.

The top-end trim comes with a 12-inch W-HUD, a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, and an integrated heating and cooling refrigerator.



Other standard configurations include a paddle shifter, 50W wireless charging, remote control via mobile phone, keyless entry, and six speakers.


The driver seat supports 8-way and the copilot seat supports 4-way electric adjustment.

The rear trunk has a standard volume of 460 L and the front trunk has a 65L storage space.
