Dongfeng’s electric SUV Nammi 06 debuts at 2025 Shanghai Auto Show

Dongfengβ€˜s new compact electric SUV first appeared at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show on April 23. The Dongfeng Nammi 06, built on the company’s Quantum Architecture Platform 3, is positioned as a small pure electric SUV in the market. Pre-sales are scheduled to begin later this month, and an official launch is planned for the second quarter of 2025.

Exterior Design

The Nammi 06 features a bold, angular design language and a closed front grille typical of electric vehicles. Its distinctive 7-shaped LED daytime running lights flank the headlights, while silver underbody protection and black rectangular air intakes add a crossover aesthetic. Customers will choose six colour options: Wave White, Silver, Support Orange, Wild Green, Paint Yellow, and Cyber Black.

The vehicle maintains its angular lines, features from the side profile, and uniquely styled two-tone wheels that enhance its visual identity. Wide black wheel arches, lower body cladding, and a silver rear trim piece further emphasise its crossover styling.

The rear showcases an β€œn”-shaped taillight design with pixel matrix elements that can display different patterns for turn signals, reverse lights, and brake lights to improve visibility and communication with other road users.

Dimensions and Interior

The Nammi 06 measures 4,306/1,868/1,645mm in l/w/h and has a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. It features a minimalist design with a floating centre touchscreen, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a slim digital instrument panel.
