The Onvo L90, Nio’s full-size mass market SUV, has officially revealed its interior for the first time in China. This electric model with a swappable battery will start presales on July 10. The L90 offers up to 440 kW (590 hp), a 900V high-voltage system, and up to 605 km of CLTC range.
Onvo is a mass-market brand launched by Nio in May 2024. Its current model line comprises a single model. It is the L60 fastback SUV aimed at Tesla Model Y. Onvo L60 sold 46,223 units from September 2024 to May 2025, according to China EV DataTracker. This model did not achieve the expected sales volume of 20,000 units per month.
The Onvo’s second model is the upcoming L90. It aims at enhancing sales by entering a rapidly developing full-size new energy SUV segment in China. On July 2, the Nio’s brand shared official images of the L90’s cabin. Onvo’s officials also shared that this crossover will start presales on July 10 in China.
Onvo L90 interior
The Onvo L90 boasts a three-row cabin with six seats and a 2+2+2 layout. The brand’s officials underlined that their second model offers “six VIP seats”. The car’s cabin is finished in white. The L90’s center console adopts a large floating screen and a head-up display that replaces the LCD instrument panel. Other features include a gear shifter behind the double D-shaped steering wheel, two wireless charging pads, and dual cup holders.
Each of the L90’s six seats is electrically powered. The first and second-row seats support zero-gravity mode. This model offers a touchscreen for the second row on the center panel, a refrigerator, and a folding table for the right passenger. There is a ceiling-mounted monitor. The car’s sunroof is divided into two independent elements. Chrome-plated elements, wooden trim, hinges on B-pillars, ambient lighting, and buttons instead of door handles are other features aimed to enhance the L90’s luxury feeling.
The first-row seats of the Onvo L90 could be folded flat, forming two beds. It is a common feature among the full-size Chinese crossovers. The third-row passengers have power seat buttons, cup holders, and charging ports.

The Onvo L90 is a full-size crossover with dimensions of 5145/1998/1766 mm and a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. It rides on 21-inch wheels. Another exterior feature of the L90 is a large bonnet that acts as a cover for the 240-liter front trunk. The car weighs between 2,250 and 2,385 kg.
The Onvo L90 will be offered with two powertrain variants. The first is RWD with a single electric motor for 340 kW (456 hp). There is also a dual-motor 4WD version with a combined peak power output of 440 kW (590 hp). The Onvo L90 adopts an 85-kWh battery pack that provides 570 – 605 km of CLTC range. The L90 supports the battery swap technology, which allows it to replace a depleted battery with a full one at around 2,000 power swap stations across China.
The Onvo L90 will become available for a presale on July 10. Its estimated price range will lie in the 220,000 – 250,000 yuan range (30,700 – 34,890 USD).
