Updated Leapmotor C11 crossover started presales in China

The Stellantis-backed Leapmotor C11 new energy crossover started presales in China. Priced at 158,800 yuan (22,160 USD), this model offers EREV and BEV powertrain options. Core upgrades of the Leapmotor C11 include increased e-motor power & design elements.

Leapmotor is a Chinese NEV maker founded in 2015. In 2024, one of the world’s leading automakers, Stellantis, acquired 20% of the company. In June 2025, Leapmotor’s sales volume reached the all-time high of 46,008 units as the brand launched updated variants of ongoing models, including C10 and C16 crossovers. On July 3, the Stellantis-backed brand kicked off presales of one of its bestselling models.

Leapmotor C11 presales

The Leapmotor C11 is a mid-size crossover. Its updated variant got a redesigned front bumper with integrated headlights. The EREV and the BEV variants of the 2026 model year C11 are no longer differentiated by exterior styling. We will remind you that the C11 with a range extender previously had a frameless grille in the front. The refreshed car has an active trapeze-shaped grille. From the back, the C11 adopts a single taillight unit.

The interior of the Leapmotor C11 has more adjustments. Its center console no longer provides three monitors. Instead, the updated C11 has a large 17-inch 2K floating touchscreen. The 2026 model year SUV adopts a new D-shaped two-spoke steering wheel and a redesigned center tunnel with two wireless phone charging pads and a hidden storage compartment.

Leapmotor C11 powertrain and prices

The Leapmotor C11 EREV adopts a 1.5-liter range extender under the hood with a peak power of 70 kW (94 hp). It sends power to an electric motor and a 41.7-kWh battery. The peak power of the C11’s e-motor is 200 kW (268 hp). This model speeds up to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and can run up to 210 km in EV mode under WLTC conditions.

The electric variant of the C11 adopts a more powerful 220 kW (295 hp) electric motor in the rear axle. It is powered by an LFP battery pack for 81.9 kWh. The car’s CLTC range reaches 640 km. This variant of the Leapmotor C11 boasts a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 6.1 seconds. It is an okay number for a car with dimensions of 4780/1905/1658 mm.

The EREV variant of the Leapmotor C11 costs between 158,800 and 168,800 yuan (22,160 – 23,560 USD). It comes standard with a LiDAR sensor on the roof and an SA8295P chip from Qualcomm. The top-trim model adds a 60-inch augmented reality head-up display, Nappa leather seats, and 21 speakers. The BEV variant is also available in two variants within a price range of 165,800 – 175,800 yuan (23,140 – 24,530 USD).
