Xpeng is a well-known Chinese NEV maker founded in 2014. Its current model line comprises six cars: G6 and G9 crossovers, P5, P7i, Mona M03 sedans, and X9 minivan. Soon, the brand’s lineup will get the latest addition, which is the Xpeng P7+ liftback. It has already reached dealers ahead of the official launch.
Xpeng P7+ at dealers in China
The first batch of Xpeng P7+ was spotted at dealers in China. One of those liftbacks has already got to the showroom for display. It has a purple body color with a blackened roof and badges. Another car was seen next to the Xpeng store wearing a silver body shade and chrome-coated emblems.
At the same time, netizens shared a photo of Xpeng P7+ liftbacks on car carriers in China. They are heading to Xpeng showrooms from the factory. According to CarNewsChina information, these are display and test-drive cars. Xpeng plans to fill showrooms with P7+ liftbacks before the launch scheduled for October 10.
Moreover, the Xpeng P7+ can make an international debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 14. As Xpeng has announced it will display an AI car at the exhibition. Previously, the brand’s officials bragged much about the Eagle Eye end-to-end AI system capable of L3+ driving assist.

The Xpeng P7+ is a large liftback with a sleek styling. It has a short sloped bonnet line and a slanted roof line. It also has retractable door handles and a black rear spoiler. The car’s front end adopts the RoboFace design language. The rear end has a single LED taillight strip. Dimensions of the Xpeng P7+ are 5056/1937/1512 mm with a wheelbase of 3000 mm.
The Xpeng P7+ has two powertrain variants. The entry-level car offers a single electric motor for 180 kW (241 hp). The more powerful version has an e-motor for 230 kW (308 hp). The P7+ has two LFP battery options: a 60.7 kWh for 575 km range (CLTC) and 76.3 kWh for 685 km (CLTC). Energy consumption is believed to be in the range of 11 kWh/100 km.
According to CarNewsChina research, Xpeng has completed only 34.3% of its annual sales target by September 2024, which is 12.7% lower than the average goal achievement rate among Chinese NEV brands.
