The Zeekr 007 station wagon was seen in China before the launch scheduled for 2025. Codenamed CC1E, the Nio ET5 Touring (see specs) rival will adopt the SEA architecture and an 800 V high-voltage system.
Zeekr is a Geely-backed brand founded in 2021. Its current model line comprises six cars: the 001 liftback, the X and the 7X crossovers, the 009 and the Mix minivans, and the 007 sedan. In June 2024, Deutsche Bank exposed Zeekrβs upcoming model line. In the next two years, this high-end NEV brand will launch five more models in China. One of them is the Zeekr 007 station wagon (CC1E). It was spotted in China.
Zeekr 007 station wagon
The Zeekr 007 station wagon was seen on a tow car. It is covered in heavy camouflage. However, we can easily distinguish this model from a signature glass line. The CC1E has 19-inch four-spoke rims with 245/45 Michelin tires. The Zeekr 007 station wagon has a sloped roofline and slanted D-pillars. Anotther feature is two thin taillight strips in the rear end.
Chinese designer Sugar Design has prepared unofficial render images of the Zeekr 007 station wagon, based on the leaked spy shot. It still has a sporty stance with a contrast-colored roof and a sizeable spoiler. The front end of the CC1E stays in line with Zeekrβs latest Hidden Energy design language similar created by Stefan Sielaff.
There is no information about the specs of the Zeekr 007 station wagon. However, its dimensions should match those of the 007 sedan (see specs). The latterβs measures are 4880/1900/1488 mm with a wheelbase of 2928 mm. The CC1E will likely adopt two powertrain variants: RWD for 310 kW (415 hp) and 4WD for 475 W (636 hp). It will have a choice between a 75 kWh LFP battery and a 100 kWh ternary NMC pack.
Zeekr 007 station wagon China and overseas launch
The exact date of the Zeekr 007 station wagon launch has yet to be revealed. However, the car has already started road tests. So, the CC1E will likely enter China in H1 2025. The pre-production model can make its debut early next year.
High-end station wagons are becoming popular in China. The Zeekr 001 set this trend in 2021. Next, Nio launched the ET5 Touring wagon. Later, Neta and BYDβs Denza also released their products for this segment. However, there is another reason for Zeekr to make a station wagon. This body type is popular in Europe. So, it will enhance Zeekrβs market positioning in European countries as its current sales volume isnβt high enough.
Meanwhile, Zeekr is successful in China. In October 2024, it sold 25,049 cars. Its cumulative sales in the first 10 months of 2024 reached 167,922 units. So, Zeekr has achieved 73% of its sales goal for this year.
