Zeekr 007 wagon spied testing

New spy shots have emerged of the Zeekr 007 wagon. Code named CC1E, the car is expected to launch in 2025.

Previously, the one shot on the Internet showed a car loaded onto a truck. The new pictures show the car being tested. These indicate that the car may well look like renderings previously published by Sugar Design. What is clear is that the slope down to the rear hatch begins quite early for a wagon.

It is this part of the car that should have the most changes, with the front half largely consistent with the Zeekr 007 sedan. Along with the actual tailgate, the biggest change is the window between the C and D pillars.

Although the tailgate has significantly changed, the tail light cluster seems to be fairly similar to that of the sedan. The dimensions of the wagon are likely to be very similar to those of the sedan, which measures 4865 mm in length, has a width of 1900 mm, and a height of 1450 mm. The wheelbase at 2928 mm should be exactly the same, with the car using a version of Geely‘s SEA platform.

The main competitor of the Zeekr 007 wagon is likely to be the Neo ET5T. Prices for the new car are expected to be in the 200,000 yuan (27,400 USD) to 250,000 yuan (34,250 USD) range.

Zeekr offers the 007 sedan (see specs) in both single and dual-motor versions, and it is likely that the powertrain options for the wagon are the same. Both versions use a rear-mounted 310 kW electric motor with a peak torque of 440 Nm. Dual-motor versions add a 165 kW electric motor to the front axle, which can deliver up to 270 Nm of torque.

Similarly, the wagon should have a choice between the 75 KWH Second generation Golden brick battery and a 100 KWH CATL Qilin battery pack. The Zeekr-developed golden brick battery is claimed to be the fastest-charging battery currently available. A 5.5 C battery, it can do a 10%-80% SoC Charge in 10.5 minutes.

The wagon version will also likely gain Zeekr’s Haohan intelligent driving 2.0 system or a more advanced version of it. The system works on a Lidar plus visual fusion basis and uses two Nvidia Orin X chips with 508 TOPS computing power. Using over 30 sensors, the Zeekr 007 can manage 30 kinds of complex intersections with a pass rate of more than 95 percent.
