Spy shots of the Leapmotor B10 interior undergoing testing have appeared on the Internet in China. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year, the Leapmotor B10 is intended to be a global car and will likely be produced in Europe as well as China.
Stellantis-backed Leapmotor has previously said that they will have 4 series of cars: A,B, C, and D. The B10 SUV Is the first car in the B series, which in China will concentrate on cars priced in the 100,000 to 150,000 yuan (14,050 β 21,100 USD) range.
Inside, the B10 is significantly different from the interior style of the C10. There is a floating centrally mounted infotainment screen. The flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel appears to only have two scroll wheel controls on it. Mounted on the steering column is a very small instrument panel.
What appears to be twin wireless mobile phone chargers are floating on the center console, which does not reach all the way to the dashboard. Below this is a storage tray.
The pictures from Autohome also extend to the rear bench. This is quite cluttered with testing equipment, and there appears to be little of note. There does, though, seem to be some sort of tray on the bottom of the center console. It is possible that this could be a fridge.
The B10 continues the design style of the Leapmotor family, and the front and rear are equipped with through-type light sources. It has dimensions of 4515,1885,1655 mm (l/w/h) and the wheelbase is 2735 mm. All versions of the car use 18-inch wheels, and curb weights range from 1670 kg to 1705 kg.
Entry-level versions use a 132 kW electric motor, which can power the B10 to 160 km/h. Meanwhile, more powerful versions use a 160 kW electric motor, which allows the car to reach 170 km/h.
Currently, there is only an all-electric version of the B10, and it is expected that the car will have a range that exceeds 600 KM. In the future, there may also be an EREV version.
Thanks to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology listing information, we know that top-spec cars will come with Lidar and a smart driving suite of sensors, including cameras.
With the listing information now published, it is likely that the B10 will launch in China in the first few months of 2025. Sales in Europe should also begin at some point during 2025.
Stellantis bought a 20% stake in Leapmotor last year and also owns the majority of the joint venture Leapmotor International. The company is already producing the T03 in Poland, and the B10 will likely also be produced at this plant.
