The Geelyβs Zeekr 007 GT electric estate rolled off the production line in China before the official launch scheduled for April 15. This vehicle is mass-produced at the Zeekr Hangzhou plant. The 007 GT will enter Europe as the Zeekr 7 GT.
The Zeekr plant in Hangzhou is also known as the Zeekr Intelligent Factory. This production facility was put into construction in late 2018. It began production in the third quarter of 2021 with the Zeekr 001 estate as the first mass-produced model. In 2025, Zeekr Hangzhou factoryβs showroom got a Muse Design Award. Nowadays, Zeekr has started manufacturing its second estate here, which is the Zeekr 007 GT electric car.
Zeekr 007 GT mass production
According to Zeekr Technology, the companyβs factory integrates large Visual Language Models into the entire value chain. It means that artificial intelligence is highly integrated into the manufacturing process. It helped to increase the output value per capita by 40% year-on-year. The one-time qualified rate of the whole vehicle reached 99.99%.
The use of a 5G network and real-time data processing with machine vision and learning allowed for a mixed-line automated inspection. Therefore, Zeekr Technology reduced labor costs by 80% and defective rates by 30%. Another feature of the factory is the use of robot clusters.

On April 13, this factory began volume production of the Zeekr 007 GT estate. It is the brandβs sixth model after the 001 estate (including the 001 FR version), the 009 minivan (including the 009 Grand variant), the X crossover, the Mix minivan, and the 7X SUV. The Zeekr 007 GT has the potential to become the brandβs hot seller as it comes standard with the LiDAR-bearing Zeekr Pilot driving assistance system. Moreover, this model has an optional tow hook and air suspension.
